We wish to thank every student who participated in our 11th Annual Passover Art Contest!

This year’s theme was “Unleavened Bread.”

Our theme verse was “And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me’” (Luke 22:19).

The following verses helped the students think more about the theme:

  • Exodus 13:3-10
  • Deuteronomy 16:1-4
  • Matthew 26:26-28
  • Mark 14:22-24
  • 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

The students were all creative with this theme, sharing what they knew about the theme. They did such a great job! You can definitely see the thought and care that went into every entry. We hope the kids were as blessed as we were!

We had several age categories with winners. Mr. Elliott chose winners based on the following criteria:

  • Connection to the theme
  • Neatness
  • Overall artistic skill
  • Creativity

What is our “Hear, Learn, Keep, Do” Method?

When YHWH wants to teach mankind something, He follows a very specific method that I can copy in my homeschooling. First, YHWH clearly presents information. The amazing capabilities of the human body are visible to all. The metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly… the water cycle… the fossil record — these are visible to all.
