When YHWH wants to teach mankind something, He follows a very specific method that I can copy in my homeschooling. First, YHWH clearly presents information. In this case, He used the things He had created, which can be seen by every person no matter where he lives, to make Himself plain to all people. The sun, moon, and stars are visible to all. The amazing capabilities of the human body are visible to all. The metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly… the water cycle… the fossil record — these are visible to all.
Step 1: Print the Lessons
Printing your own lessons at home means you save money! We provide a simple roadmap to help you choose courses that are just right for your children. Access each course and click to print. You can also print planning forms, menus, chore charts, schedules, report cards and more. We recommend using grayscale to save even more money.
Step 2: Poke Holes and Put in Binders
Kids love to help with this step! Grab a 3-hole punch, and get your lessons ready to insert into binders. The Teacher has a binder, and each student also has one. You can design your own covers if you’d like. I like to put the Together School planner in the front, with subject dividers behind that, such as Bible, math, phonics, history, and science.
Step 3: Open Your Bibles and Notebooks — Go!
On Monday morning, open your binders and Bibles. Follow the lessons step-by-step, as you all study together. In our home, our homeschooling day usually starts right after breakfast. We clear the dishes off the table and get our Bibles out. We open our Torah curriculum and start by reading a chapter from the Bible. At the moment, we go around the table, each person reading one verse, because we are wanting some of our children to get more practice reading aloud.
