Why Hebrew Feels Hard,
Even for Smart Learners
Many students—teens and adults alike—come to Hebrew already knowing how to learn.
They read well. They study Scripture carefully. They’ve handled challenging material before.
So when Hebrew feels intimidating, the assumption is often:
“Maybe I’m just not good at languages.”
But Hebrew is rarely difficult because of the student. It feels difficult because it is often introduced too fast, too abstractly, and without enough time to grow comfortable with the sounds on the page.
Confidence Comes First
Learn to recognize letters and read aloud without fear or pressure.
Built for Real Life
Short, focused lessons that fit busy days, not academic schedules.
Reading Before Rules
Start reading Hebrew immediately—grammar comes later, when it actually makes sense.
Safe to Be a Beginner
No embarrassment, no cold-calling—participation is always optional and supportive.
For All Ages
Teens, adults, and families can learn together without anyone feeling out of place.
Scripture from the Start
Practice with real Biblical Hebrew, not artificial drills or disconnected exercises.
Lifetime Replays Included
Watch replays of any missed sessions, review lessons anytime, and return whenever you need refreshment.
Hi, I’m Anne.
Like many of you, I love Scripture deeply. I’ve spent years teaching, studying, and walking alongside families who want more than surface-level learning, but who are also living very full lives. I know what it’s like to want to learn something meaningful, yet feel discouraged by methods that feel rushed, technical, or overwhelming.
I want to offer the kind of Hebrew class that respects your intelligence, honors your season of life, and removes the fear that so often surrounds Biblical Hebrew.
In this course, I don’t assume you have unlimited time or academic training. I assume you are capable, thoughtful, and serious about learning—but that you need an approach that starts gently and builds confidence step by step.
Whether you are a teen beginning Hebrew for the first time, an adult returning to learning after many years, or a parent learning alongside your children, my goal is the same:
To help you read Hebrew aloud with confidence, and to enjoy the process along the way.
I would be honored to have you take a seat at the table with me.
The Mentoring Advantage
Hebrew at the Table begins with how language is actually learned:
Seeing the letters
Making the sounds
Reading aloud, slowly and repeatedly
This approach works equally well for:
Teenagers just beginning language study
Adults returning to learning after many years
Parents learning alongside their children
Confidence comes first. Mastery comes later.

What Anne’s Students Say:
“Anne was great, explained everything really well, and actually listened to us and answered our questions instead of brushing us off.” – Isabella
“You have done a great job teaching and have been the best teacher (besides my mom).” – Eliza
“You provided clear examples and explanations in class, helping those still confused as well. The Zoom classroom worked very well for learning. I felt very comfortable participating in class discussions, as more of my “shy shell” dropped away.” – Noah
