9 pm — Open House and Welcome Party — We will kick off the conference with a fun get-to-know-each-other online party, giveaways, and more.
Monday, August 8
10 am — Basics of a Peaceful Family — Parenting basics (first time obedience, marital unity, attitudes), how to have a happy family, getting along (patience, self control, kindness, think of others)
2 pm — Basics of Why We Study and Learn — How language changes, how and why we need to learn to read, why we need math, science, history, and cursive
7 pm — Basics of Yeshua — Who is Yeshua? What did He do for us? What does it matter? How can living for Him transform our lives?
Tuesday, August 9
10 am — Basics of Learning How to Learn — Developing attention span, stages of mental growth, how to develop study habits, ways to practice
2 pm — Basics of Assessment — Teaching multiple ages, assessment and grading, tests, portfolios, grade placement
7 pm — Basics of Getting Started in Homeschooling — How to set up notebooks, school room, first days, scheduling
Wednesday, August 10
10 am — Basics of Teaching Time Management — Teaching how to tell time, weather, moons, using calendars in the home, biblical calendar, time management and routines
2 pm — Basics of Hebrew & Language Learning — Hebrew basics (alephbet and vowels), basics of learning to read any language, including English, how to make it stick in our brains
7 pm — Basics of a Good Work Ethic — The importance of hard work, words to keep out of our family vocabulary (I can’t, bored, never… and how to replace them), gardening, home and car maintenance, yard work
Thursday, August 11
10 am — Basics of Finances — Budgeting, consumer math, applying math skills to real life, Torah financial principles
2 pm — Basics of Meal Prep — How to avoid unclean foods, basics of meal prep, getting all the kitchen jobs done, preparing for Sabbath
7 pm — Basics of Housekeeping — Chores to do each day (bed, floors, toilet, etc), getting the whole family to help
9 pm — Prize Giveaways, Q&A, and Testimony Time
