Many of our recipes are written by Elizabeth Lock.

About Elizabeth:

I am a wife, mother, homemaker, homeschooler, and sister to many in Messiah. In my journey to be healthy, I have gradually refined my pantry to clean, unadulterated food. I believe making real food leads to good health and connecting with people. From traditional fermented fares to Kosher preparations and everything in between, making food should be enjoyable and nourishing.

A little more about my journey:

When YHWH created all things, they were perfect whether it be the plants, animals, land, or sea life. As history proves, it has been man who thought to “do better than God” and tamper with perfection, therefore creating imperfection.

Lev 19:19 ‘Guard My laws. Do not let your livestock mate with another kind. Do not sow your field with mixed seed. And do not put a garment woven of two sorts of thread upon you.

As hybridization and genetic modification has grown in popularity around the world, there has been a great increase in illness not only in humans but in animals. When we feed ourselves and the living creatures substances that are polluted and lack life, so will we be. The cause of this deterioration is due to ignoring the words of the Creator. With spiritual disobedience comes physical consequences. Everything we need to know about life, health, and blessing is written in the first five books of the Scriptures. With a little research and a willing heart, we can turn back to YHWH’s ways and regain not only our physical health, but spiritual.

It is my goal to provide recipes and information about foods and plants not only created by YHWH but those that have been contaminated or modified from their original form and give you healthy options that more closely resemble the perfection of creation. I believe our spiritual health and physical health go hand-in-hand, so the sooner we turn back to His ways in all aspects the sooner we heal.
