Choosing Your Curriculum by Grade

Membership to Homeschooling Torah is an all-inclusive curriculum. There are so many choices that you might not know where to start!

  1. Remember that parents are the “teachers” and “principals” in their family’s homeschool, so adjust our recommendations to fit your family and your children’s specific needs. You are in charge, not us!
  2. Our curriculum is more teacher-intensive than some. Our job is to provide the tools so that you’ll have time to spend with your children, but our curriculum cannot substitute for that time.

More than one child? Choose subjects for your oldest child first, then add extras for younger children.

* These subjects are designed so that you can teach all your children together, saving you time and energy!

Hello, I am very interested on your curriculum. I just have on question at this time, do you have to have the internet to use this curriculum? We do not have home internet at this time.
    Thanks for your time,
    Tara Merritt

Hi, Tara! It certainly might make life *easier* to have the Internet, but for most subjects, no, you just need it when you download the lesson plans to your own computer. From there, you wouldn’t need it. However, for science, geography, and music, you DO need it. In our own family, we try to just use the Internet one day a week, when we visit a library or other place that has free wi-fi. That’s when we watch our science videos. Most other subjects will occasionally point you to a website or video as a reference, but these are optional, not necessary. 🙂 I hope this helps!

How exactly does it work? Say I choose the grade level for my oldest (4th grade), how do I then “add in extras” for my younger two school age children (will be 1st and Kindergarten)?

Also, can I start mid year? As in March or should I wait until the beginning of next year? Or does it go year round so it doesn’t matter either way?
