Hello! My name is Lydia Hirn. I’m from Michigan, where I was raised with my parents and 14 siblings.
Throughout my life I’ve felt called to my Father Abba, worshiping through children’s programs, church worship, studying and copying my Bible, photography, and song writing, gradually finding a passion for the language of His people Israel.
I believe the entire Bible is for all of us today. I believe it’s God-breathed and necessary to be “thoroughly equipped for every good work,” like 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says. But without a proper knowledge of the language it came from, how can we truly understand it to the fullest?
As I built upon my passion, absorbing the intricacies and symbolism in my learning, I unknowingly began my journey to writing Hebrew curriculum. And just like that, Lydia Lu Languages was born!

New Hope Ministry
In the Bible, God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6). There is evil in this world and our world is filled with lies. The Body of Messiah has so fallen for the lies of the world, the flesh, and the devil, and is suffering severely because of it. God has raised up New Hope Ministry to help hurting people, to build up the Body of Messiah by turning people into warriors of the King, and to equip them to go out and do the same. Our heart’s desire is to see complete transformation in people’s lives.
New Hope Ministry is teaching people to know and apply the truth. So many of God’s people are not applying the truth! That’s why the Body of Messiah is so broken down! God is using New Hope’s ministry tools to help rebuild and equip the Body of Messiah. Our New Hope Handbooks were designed to expose the lies of the world, the flesh, and the devil. People learn how to identify these lies, evaluating everything with the Word of God, then replacing these lies with truth. The focus is not on people’s problems or “issues,” which are only outward symptoms of deeper problems, but goes directly to the roots. If the roots are dealt with properly first, symptoms and issues will disappear along the way.
The purpose of our New Hope Series is to initiate a transformational work in the life of each person who goes through it, while at the same time equipping them to reach out and share it with others. Only God can bring about that kind of transformation. The materials are laid out to create an atmosphere where people truly seek God and love Him with all their heart, their soul, their mind, and their strength. The New Hope ministry tools are teaching people to know the truth and apply the truth of God’s Word. Yeshua said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).

Torah Town
Torah Town is a ministry of volunteers dedicated seeking out and living out the Whole Word of God. Our purpose is to share all that we learn, not only to our youth, but also to their parents and caregivers. We began in April 2017, as an animated Torah adventure series with each episode based on a daily parsha reading, aimed at the pre-school to 4th grade demographic.
Our initial aim was to provide a Scripturally Based alternative to mainstream, secular programs. However, after about 4 months, we discovered that there is a great need for all forms of Torah Based entertainment, activities and learning materials for children and their parents.
Now our goals have grown to creating wholesome videos and animations for our youth, designing scripture centered games and activities, as well as developing a God-Centered, Torah Based Curriculum for Homeschooling that is both entertaining and motivational for the student and parent alike. Shalom Shalom!!! I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone! I’m Hephzibah Ariella! I make beautiful Tzitzits! I’m a Hebrew follower of Yahshua and a seeker of the Good Way – the Ancient Path! I came to see the depth of my Hebrew Messiah Yahshua and the truth of Torah in December 2014 after a lifetime deeply involved in traditional church. I am SO grateful YAH brought me out of darkness and into HIS marvelous light! I currently live in Michigan and run Yah’s Forget Me Knots Tassel Company from home. I attend a congregation here and am very blessed to have found my spiritual FAMILY!
I am also a music teacher and live on an urban farmstead with my dad. I was a vocal performance major in college and also play the piano, violin, a tiny bit of guitar, and various classroom instruments. On our urban farmstead, we grow micro greens, have our dogs, a cat, chickens, ducks, quail, and rabbits (for wool)!
